Public sculpture in progress for Lyons

A new sculpture, High Desert Kelp, is in the works for installation in the spring of 2023 in Lyons, Colorado, through the heARTS of Lyons  program. Pictured is the proposal model, which is undergoing a few changes in form and color during fabricated in 3/8" aluminum plate.  Stay tuned for updates.

Update on Opus 1

I have just received from Germany a new photo of my 1973 wood sculpture, Opus 1, whose owners recently commissioned a new base. Always great to hear how older pieces are still appreciated.

All Together Now

Painted aluminum, 4' x 4' x 8'

Installed in September, 2021 at the St. Vrain Market in Lyons, Colorado as a juried selection for the heARTS of Lyons, An Art Collection All Over Town, with support from the Lyons Community Foundation and the Town of Lyons.

All Together Now invites exploration in the round as forms appear and change shape when viewed from different angles and through varied openings.

The Market's outdoor café seating provides an ideal vantage point as sunlight moves across the sculpture over the course of the day.
